TERMS & CONDITIONS
A clear and respectful agreement:
These Terms and Conditions explain the basis on which Claire, trading as True Nature Healing (referred to as “I”, “me” or “True Nature Healing”), provides services to you. They are intended to create clarity, safety and mutual respect. By booking or attending a session, you confirm that you have read and accepted them.
These terms apply to human healing sessions, animal healing sessions, First Connection Sessions, Restoration Sessions, Deep Restoration, Sanctuary Sessions, Healing Pathways and any other service expressly offered under the True Nature Healing name.
Important:
True Nature Healing offers complementary, intuitive wellbeing support. It does not diagnose, treat or cure medical, psychological or veterinary conditions and is not a substitute for advice, examination, diagnosis or treatment from a GP, qualified healthcare professional or veterinary surgeon. No particular outcome can be guaranteed.
1.Booking and acceptance
A booking is confirmed when I have accepted the appointment and any required payment or deposit has been received. Appointment details, duration, location, format and price will be shown at booking or agreed with you in writing.
You must be at least 18 years old to book for yourself. A parent or legal guardian must book and give informed consent for anyone under 18. I may decline or pause a booking if I believe the service is unsuitable, outside my competence, unsafe, or not in the best interests of the person or animal concerned.
2.Prices and payment
The price payable is the price confirmed at the time of booking. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due in full before the session. Any payment plan must be agreed in writing and payments remain due on the dates stated.
Where a deposit is required, its amount and treatment on cancellation will be made clear before booking. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
3.Changing or cancelling an appointment
Please give at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. With 48 hours' notice, payment may be transferred once to another available appointment or refunded, less any clearly disclosed non-recoverable booking cost.
If less than 48 hours' notice is given, or you do not attend, the session fee may be retained or remain payable because the reserved time is unlikely to be filled. I will consider genuine emergencies and exceptional circumstances fairly and individually.
If I need to cancel, I will offer a suitable alternative appointment or a full refund of the amount paid for the affected session. I am not responsible for indirect costs such as travel or accommodation unless the law requires otherwise.
4.Online and distance-booking cancellation rights
If you book online, by telephone or away from my business premises, you will normally have a statutory 14-day cancellation period beginning the day after the contract is made. You may cancel by making a clear statement to me. A specific form is not required.
If you ask for a service to begin during that 14-day period, you expressly request early performance. If you then cancel before the service is complete, I may charge a proportionate amount for the service already supplied. Once a service has been fully performed within that period, after your express request and acknowledgement, the statutory right to cancel may end.
These rights are separate from the 48-hour appointment policy above.
5.Arrival, duration and participation
Please arrive or join at the agreed time. Late arrival may shorten the session so that the next client's time is protected, and the full fee will normally remain payable. If you are more than 15 minutes late without contact, the appointment may be treated as a missed session.
You remain responsible for your choices, participation and wellbeing. Please communicate any discomfort, concern, accessibility need or wish to pause or stop. Consent is ongoing and may be withdrawn at any time.
6.Health, medication and suitability
Before a session, please disclose relevant physical or mental health conditions, pregnancy, allergies, injuries, recent procedures, medication and professional advice that may affect safe participation. You should seek medical advice if you are unsure whether a service is appropriate.
Do not delay seeking professional help, stop medication, or change an existing treatment plan because of a True Nature Healing session. In an emergency, contact 999, NHS 111 or an appropriate urgent service.
7.Animal healing sessions
The animal's welfare is always the priority. You confirm that you are the animal's owner or have the owner's authority to consent. You must disclose known conditions, medication, behavioural risks and current veterinary care before the session.
Animal healing is complementary and does not replace veterinary examination, diagnosis or treatment. I do not prescribe medication or advise you to discontinue veterinary care. Where an animal is unwell, injured, in pain or behaving unusually, you must seek prompt advice from a veterinary surgeon. I may require veterinary approval where appropriate and may refuse or stop a session if welfare or safety could be compromised.
The animal is free to move away and will not be forced to participate. You remain responsible for safe handling, supervision and any equipment needed. Please tell me in advance about bite, kick, escape or other safety risks.
8.Touch, energy work and personal boundaries
The nature of the proposed session will be explained and your consent sought. Any touch is optional, respectful and limited to the agreed service. You may request a hands-off approach, change your consent or end the session at any time.
Inappropriate, abusive, discriminatory, threatening or sexually suggestive behaviour will end the session immediately. The fee may be retained and serious matters may be reported where necessary to protect safety.
9.Confidentiality, records and privacy
Information you share is treated with care and kept confidential, subject to legal and safeguarding exceptions. I may disclose information where required by law, where you consent, or where I reasonably believe there is a serious risk of harm to you, another person or an animal.
I may keep proportionate booking, consent and session records for professional, insurance, tax and legal purposes. Personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection law and the True Nature Healing privacy information. Testimonials, images or identifiable case details will never be published without separate permission.
10.Results and responsibility
Experiences vary. Any description of possible benefits is illustrative rather than a promise. You remain responsible for deciding whether to book, for communicating honestly, and for seeking regulated professional help where needed.
I will provide the agreed service with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
11.Packages and Healing Pathways
Where you book a series or pathway, the number, frequency, price, expiry date and payment schedule will be agreed before purchase. Sessions are personal to you and are not transferable unless agreed in writing.
If you end a package early after the statutory cancellation period, completed sessions and any non-recoverable elements may be charged at the price stated when booked, with any remaining refund calculated fairly according to the written package terms. I may recommend pausing or ending a pathway if it is no longer appropriate.
12.Gift vouchers and promotions
Any expiry date, service restriction or promotional condition will be stated when issued. Gift vouchers cannot normally be exchanged for cash, but this does not affect statutory rights. The recipient must complete any required consultation and suitability process.
13.Complaints
If you are unhappy, please contact me as soon as possible with your name, appointment date and a clear description of the concern. I will acknowledge the complaint and aim to provide a considered response within 14 calendar days. Where more time is reasonably needed, I will explain why and provide an updated timescale.
I welcome the opportunity to resolve concerns fairly. You may also seek independent consumer advice.
14.Changes, law and severability
The terms accepted when you book will apply to that booking. I may update these terms for future bookings. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You retain any right under consumer law to bring proceedings in the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
